Kyrie Irving anticipates a maximum contract 

 when he enters the free agent market.

But, Kyrie Irving will be an unrestricted free agency this summer

and some league sources said he expects to earn his maximum salary in July.

Dallas has the option to pay Irving up to $272 million over five years

 based on the NBA's projected salary cap of $134 million for 2023–24.
