On Sunday, HBO and HBO Max broadcast the

eventh episode of The Last of Us, which brought

us back to Joel (Peter Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey),

 who were separated by a violent confrontation 

with a marauder that left him stabbed and on the verge of death.

It derailed their attempt to deliver Ellie to the Fireflies, a rebel faction.
