The Bo Nickal era began on Saturday with a commanding
first-round submission, as predicted by the oddsmakers.
To open the UFC 285 pay-per-view event at the T-Mobile
Arena in Las Vegas, Nickal (4-0), a three-time Division I national champion
wrestling at Penn State, submitted Jamie Pickett with
an arm-triangle choke in just under three minutes.
